My journey with yoga begun few years back when I was only 17. Like many other young people at my age, I was looking to find my purpose in life. It was in this period that I came across yoga for the first time.
Moving to London at the age of 21, I worked as a retailer in New Bond Street for over 5 years. During that time, I experienced first hand how fast and frantic life can be in a big city (and how easily you can become lost or confused).
For me, yoga was not just an “activity” to get fit or flexible. Yoga was and still is a safe anchor, a peaceful way to escape from deadlines and busy schedules, a way to recenter myself and become more aware of my own body and emotions. Whilst practicing alongside excellent teachers in London, my passion and love for this discipline grew more and more. It was then following a yoga retreat in January 2018 that I was motivated to come back in London and apply for my first Yoga Teacher Training under the supervision of Hassan Hassan at Breeze Yoga studio in Beckenham Junction. I am now a fully qualified yoga teacher having completed my first 200hr of Hatha & Vinyasa Flow, recognised by Yoga Alliance UK.
My goal now is to help and inspire people to come to their mat and do more yoga
I believe that anyone and everyone can benefit from this practice.
