THE ART OF TRANSITIONING
WORKSHOP
SAMSARA MIND&BODY - 13th MAY 2023
Refine and grow your yoga practice, join me for this 90min workshop where you will be safely instructed on how to transition from asana to asana with grace, control and precision. When we attend yoga classes, we often focus entirely on individual asanas and how to master them, but don’t take enough time to focus on the fluidity when we release from one pose and prepare for the next one.
During this workshop, you will be led through a vinyasa flow sequence where we will be breaking down important elements of our practice. We will take time to slow down and tune into our bodies as yoga transitions are the perfect opportunity to connect more deeply with our bodies and stay in the present moment.
This workshop welcomes everyone with a regular practice who’s interested in refining their skills and feel more confident and comfortable when attending a flow based class and new teachers are welcome.
In this 90min workshop you will learn:
- How to prepare and warm up the body before practice.
- Techniques, tips and tricks for moving lightly through a vinyasa sequence.
- Essential jumps and arm balances.
- How to use props to assist our practice.

This workshop is all about learning how to break down the fundamental components of one of the most popular inversion in vinyasa yoga “Pincha Mayurasana”. And in order to master these fundamentals, we need to conquer our fear of falling, develop strength as well as flexibility and grow our ability to concentrate. In this two hours workshop, Salvo will be guiding you through a series of preparatory isolation exercises, provide you with important informations about what inversions are and offer tailored adjustments. During this workshop there will be plenty of time to practice and have a proper understanding of this asana. This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate practitioners that are willing to expand their practice.
