ARM BALANCE - PART 1
WORKSHOP

Learn how to resist the force of gravity and release the true strength that’s already within you. Arm balances are a fun way to explore your strength and add dimension to your yoga practice.

In this playful 2 hour yoga workshop you will be guided through a series of fundamental warm-up exercises and drills that will prepare your body to safely encounter some of the

most popular arm balances taught in a yoga class such as “Crow Pose, Side Crow and Eight Angle Pose”. Salvo will be sharing some tips to help you build the strength and confidence needed to work with these poses helping you overcome any fear or anxiety you may experience when it comes to performing them.

This workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate practitioners who have not yet become comfortable with arm balances and or want to refine their arm balancing technique.

BEGINNER ARM BALANCE - PART 2
WORKSHOP

Arm balances can be such a fun part of our daily yoga practice. But all this fun, can often be replaced by fear, frustration or even anger especially when we do not understand the principles and mechanism or arm balances.

During this 90’ minutes workshop, Salvo will guide you through a short asana practice to prepare your body providing some essential warm up exercises followed by plenty of time to explore a range of different arm balances and techniques that can help you feel more confident and more relax while performing this type of asanas.

Some of the postures you will be exploring during this workshop are:

- Bakasana - Crow pose
- Eka Pada Bakasana - One legged crow
- Eka Pada Galavasana - Flying Pigeon
- Eka Pada Koundinyasa II - Hurdler pose

 

If you are at the beginning of your arm balance journey, We will strongly recommend you to attend to the “BEGINNER ARM BALANCE” Workshop first, as the format of this workshop is for students that have already started their arm balances journey and want to learn some more complex asanas and techniques.

FOREARM STAND & HANDSTAND
INVERSIONS WORKSHOP

In this forearm and handstand inversions workshop,  you will dive into the exciting world of inversions. Combining two of the most popular inversions Pincha Mayurasana (forearm stand) and Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand), you'll learn how to conquer your fear of falling and develop strength, flexibility, and concentration. Salvo will guide you through a series of preparatory exercises and provide tailored adjustments to help you master these challenging poses. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate practitioner, this workshop is perfect for expanding your yoga practice and exploring the art of inversions. No prior experience is necessary, so come join us and discover the joy of being upside down!
